EIGHTH GRADE SUPPLY LIST
Each middle school student will be given a combined handbook/assignment book. It will be available in homerooms on the first day of school. If a student loses his/her assignment book, additional copies will be available in our bookstore for $5.00.
In order to start the 2009-10 school year on the first day, which is a full day - September 8, we ask that each eighth grader bring the following required supplies to school:
GENERAL SUPPLY LIST:

FOREIGN LANGUAGE
1 3-ring, 1-inch binder
SOCIAL STUDIES
4 folders w/ clips and pockets (1 for each quarter)
MATH
1 pocket folder
3 or 5 subject spiral notebook
ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS
2" binder with 1 folder with holes to go in binder
3x3" post-it notes (any brand) [at least 300 will be used throughout the year]
Composition notebook (marble hardcover)
300 index cards (3x5 blank or ruled)
1 glue stick (for ELA only)
GENERAL SCIENCE
1 3-ring binder (2-3 inches)
HEALTH
1 pocket folder
BIOLOGY
1 pocket folder with clips
1 3-ring, 2-inch binder
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
deodorant, t-shirt (different from what was worn to school)
shorts & sneakers
In addition, the following items will be needed by eighth graders during the 10 week marking period when they have the following exploratories:
